Masters degree in Law
Maître Xavier-Romain Rahm was born in 1980 and in 2003 obtained his Swiss law degree (Masters) at the University of Fribourg (note Fribourg-Paris ll) as well as his French law degree (Masters) at the University of Paris/Panthéon-Assas (note speciality French and Swiss law).
He then completed his training by obtaining a DEA in British and North American business law at the University of Paris/Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2004. Lectures and research were mainly in English..
After an internship as a lawyer, he passed his Bar exams in Geneva in 2006. From the time of his internship until the present day, he has worked as a lawyer in both Geneva and Lausanne and has been a partner in Schmidt, Jaton and Partners since 2011.
Maître Xavier-Romain Rahm is very experienced in legal proceedings, particularly in Geneva and Vaud. After several years of practice in the areas of family law, inheritance lawsuits and the planning involved in these, he has now turned towards corporate labour law, landlord and tenant law and construction law. He also regularly advises Swiss and foreign companies in all the areas linked to company organization, the legal aspects of setting up offices in Switzerland, immigration law, contracts as well as debt collection.
Maître Xavier-Romain Rahm is also a director on the boards of various companies.
